Since writing this article, I found Hugo Larochelle's website -- with links to a plethora of useful learning content about Deep Learning http://info.usherbrooke.ca/hlarochelle/neural_networks/content.html
There's probably more than anyone can absorb, but you can cherry pick the areas you are interested in. Happy viewing!

Thanks! I will scribe something else about the folding project and its size — I wrote something up about supercomputers the other day and it would be a good contrast.
I recently wrote something about passive income from idle computer time — but only touched on Grid Coin and it’s my intention to write a more detailed article. I’ll come back to when it’s in draft for a swift fact check or review. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this interesting piece. I like the idea of using detection for feedback e.g. on a video game, but find the concept of using it to filter candidates at interview highly alarming! I would have thought there to be much more nuance involved in selection than an AI could perceive. For example, if a candidate is sat in a hot or noisy room, they are likely to look strained and uncomfortable, and thus perform badly. I saw something about a robot called Vera that is used in hiring too, and this raises similar misgivings (to me). But it's super cool tech for sure!

Thanks for the suggestion. That sounds great - it's passed me by so far but I'll definitely look out for that book as it sounds useful.
